Why Come?
Do you love being outdoors?
Are you curious about nature?
Do you like being creative?
Do you like a ‘hygge’ environment?
Do you want to be part of a club?
Are you free 1 day a week for 6-weeks?
If so, come along and be part of this club!
You’ll receive person-centred support; have a good walk in different places; do some gardening; be involved; wonder; learn; and make art if you fancy it.
And potentially, you’ll
develop some new nature-club-friends and have a giggle,
build some more good self-esteem,
wholly and holistically benefit from being outdoors and have a focused day in and with nature
Enjoy the rhythm of the day
Skills you could learn or improve:
gardening: sowing, taking cuttings, growing and looking after lots of different plants
journaling and learning about weather, seasons, soil, permacultures, composting, trees, birds
cooking: baking, preserving, roasting (there are 5 apple trees and 1 pear tree)
exploring crafts and art: using watercolours, pastels, acrylics; papercrafts, air dry clay, crocheting…
As part of joining The Club for a block of sessions, you get your own blank art journal and some club merch (as seen on Insta)!
Being part of a club of your choice, doing what you love, in a lush environment is brilliant for your well-being.
On the first day of the block, we each choose a local tree on a walk - one that catches your eye. Each week, we’ll visit that tree and see it, notice it, draw it.
Being outdoors for as much of the day as possible, if not all day, is a super important part of the premise of the club. There is loads of evidence to show how blimin’ good it is for your mental and physical health.
Every day there is a walk - approx an hour (minimum). We walk at the pace of the slowest walker, together.
Anything and everything that gets harvested in the garden is shared. You could have your own growing area in the greenhouse, in pots, the raised beds.
This is a small homely cosy space.
